Project Naming Conventions

Introduction

The various components of the project use a specific naming convention: the name is always lower-case, even when starting a sentence. This document defines the canonical usage; please conform to these conventions when writing documentation:

  • minimega
  • miniccc
  • protonuke
  • igor
  • vmbetter
  • powerbot

Good:

minimega is a tool for managing virtual machines.

Bad:

Igor, MiniMega, and MiniCCC work together to manage a cluster.
